Seed Organization at Desmond Dekker Tribute Show

In May of 2006, Desmosnd Dekker passed away and left his legacy for a new generation to discover and learn from. Bacteria Buffet Records is pleased to present this compilation as a tribute to the late and great ambassador of Jamaican music. Thirteen artists from across North America have come together to provide their own interpretations of these greats songs. From dub, punk, hip-hop, rocksteady and ska versions of these great tracks, Unity: A Tribute to Desmond Dekker sheds light on the impact of this man and his songs on so many different musical genres.

To help celebrate the release of Unity: A Tribute to Desmond Dekker, Bacteria Buffet Records presents the Winnipeg release party on Friday Jan 25th at the West End Cultural Centre. The event will feature live performances by The Afterbeat, The Wedgewoods and Greg Milka Crowe as well as Balanced's own The Seed Organization.
