Sarah Michaelson 
As a vocalist, Sarah first recorded with Balanced Records for "About a Year Ago Today," a single from Fascade@137db's album Character of the Moment. The single garnered much local and national attention and was picked up by the Manitoba Audio Recording Industry Association's compilation manitobamusic.com Volume 3. Sarah has also collaborated with Solidaze for the track "Fools" featured on the Northern Faction 3 release. She has played a pivotal role in the newest Balanced release - Pleasure from Precision, lending her well developed lyrical skills to the project.Having trained as a soprano in both jazz and classical music, her voice often leans toward a blend of the two styles, reminiscent of the scats and arias that she began performing over a decade ago. When DJing, she is better known as Mama Cutsworth. Voted Winnipeg's third favourite DJ in Uptown Magazine she's played at festivals, art galleries, roller rinks, and dance parties all over the place. Using strictly vinyl, she's no stranger to making folks flip on the old school funk, soul, hip hop and latin. In 2006, Sarah took 1st place in the Clash of the Titans competition, a 15 minute spin off between 7 of Winnipeg's top funk, hip hop and disco DJs. These days, Sarah divides her time between hosting the weekly radio show Stylus Radio on CKUW and working as the producer of The Signal CBC Radio Two. Discography
