Billy Rockwell
Billy Rockwell has released material under a variety of guises over the years, beginning in 2001, as drum & bass producer Destro on the Massive Transit compilation. Later that year, as Nasdweeb, he released compositions on Balanced Records' premier collection Northern Faction. During the fall of 2003, he collaborated with Sohcahtoa on a limited edition 3" CD under the name Mod Parlour Orchestra. Keeping himself locked away in the studio producing a library of tracks, Rockwell contributed to Northern Faction 2 under the MPO moniker with a direction of twisted mechanized pop. A year later he presented us with his richly textured solo EP - The Mod Parlour Orchestra, a 7 track voyage into his quirky and chaotic world. As Rockwell continues to explore layered rhythms and atmospheres in the spirit of drum & bass and glitch hop, he strays into uncharted territory. Billy has kicked off 2007 by contributing a thunderous remix of the Solidaze track Could Be and is working on several collaborative projects including a long awaited reunion with Sohcahtoa for the upcoming Link Pins release.
